[RECIPE] Hand Drip Recipe

 

Equipment

  • Dripper
  • Paper filter
  • Server or mug
  • Scale
  • Kettle
  • Coffee beans

Parameters

  • Water temperature: 90–100°C
  • Coffee: 14g
  • Water: 250–260ml
  • Grind size: Medium (approx. 1.0–1.5mm)

Method

  1. Rinse the paper filter with hot water and discard.
  2. Add ground coffee and gently level the bed.
  3. Start by evenly saturating all grounds.
  4. First pour / 0:00 — 50–60g. Bloom until 0:45.
  5. Second pour / 0:45 — slowly pour up to 180g.
  6. Third pour / 1:25 — pour up to 250–260g, then gently swirl the dripper 5 times.
  7. Total brew time should be around 2:45–3:00. Adjust grind size if needed.
