This coffee has a bright, refreshing orange acidity and a soft sweetness reminiscent of almonds and apples. It has tropical nuances like pineapple, giving it a very unique flavor. The flavor gradually changes with temperature, allowing you to enjoy different impressions depending on when you drink it.
Its distinctive tropical flavor, like orange and pineapple, makes it a perfect match for citrus desserts and nutty sweets. For example, by pairing it with orange tart, almond cake, or pineapple fruit salad, the bright acidity of the coffee and the sweetness of the sweets are an exquisite match. It's also recommended to enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee with granola or yogurt for breakfast.
[Production background]
Luciano Del Pupo grew up in the Vila Pontonyes region, working as a partner with his father on a nearby farm. He married Josaín Rietigue Braga and became the manager of the farm he inherited from her family. The farm was named Sitio Braga, after Josaín's father's surname. Luciano is passionate about coffee cultivation, planting new varieties and experimenting with new techniques, always striving for productivity and quality.
Last year's batch had a slight Rwandan coffee-like nuance, but this year's batch is cleaner and more floral, making it even more of a batch you'll want to drink every day.
[ Regional characteristics:
This coffee is grown in the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo . Espirito Santo is a region with a relatively cool climate and high altitude, and is a popular destination for traditional Arabica cultivation. Located in a mountainous region at an altitude of 1,000-1,200 meters, the large temperature difference between day and night promotes slow maturation of the coffee, resulting in a balanced sweetness and acidity. Espirito Santo is also characterized by fertile soil and stable rainfall, providing an ideal environment for producing specialty coffee.
[ The relationship between the country's economy and the coffee industry
Brazil is known as the world's largest coffee-producing country, and the coffee industry plays an important role in the Brazilian economy. The state of Espirito Santo in particular has seen rapid growth in the export of specialty coffee, and in recent years has been investing in improving quality and introducing sustainable cultivation methods. In the Brazilian coffee industry, farmers are focusing on technological innovation and improving varieties to increase their competitiveness in the global market.
[ country Politics and its impact on the coffee industry
Brazil's agricultural policies are a key factor in supporting coffee production. The government and coffee associations encourage the production of high-quality coffee for export, providing technical and financial assistance, especially to small and medium-sized farmers. Efforts to adopt sustainable agricultural practices and adapt coffee cultivation to climate change are also being promoted, and coffee farmers in Espírito Santo state are benefiting from these efforts.
