We recommend pairing this coffee with strawberry tart or a dried fruit mix to bring out its fruity, tea-like flavor. Strawberry tart creates a wonderful harmony between the strawberry flavor of the coffee and the sweet and sour taste of the tart. Dried strawberries and raisins also enhance the fruity flavor.

Facts
[Regional characteristics]
Yirgacheffe is located in the Sidama region of southern Ethiopia. This region reaches an altitude of 1,800m to 2,200m, providing ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. Yirgacheffe's climate is warm and receives abundant rainfall throughout the year. This provides sufficient moisture for coffee growth, and the temperature difference between day and night enriches the flavor of the beans.

【economy】
Ethiopia's economy is primarily dependent on agriculture, with coffee, grains, pulses, and oilseeds being its main agricultural products. Coffee is Ethiopia's largest export and an important pillar of its economy. Ethiopia has experienced economic growth in recent years, with particular development in the service and manufacturing sectors. However, agriculture remains the core of the economy, and agricultural reform is underway. Ethiopia faces problems of poverty and income inequality, and improving living standards, particularly in rural areas, is a challenge. The government is promoting policies to address this issue, but many challenges remain. Infrastructure development is lagging behind, with improvements needed in transportation and communications, in particular.

[Politics]
Ethiopia has a federal system, with the president serving as head of state, while the prime minister holds actual executive power. The prime minister is elected by the parliament, which is also structured under a federal system. The federal parliament consists of the Senate (regional representatives) and the House of Representatives (national representatives). Ethiopia is a multi-ethnic country, and ethnic conflicts and regional disputes often occur. The government strives for harmony and unity among ethnic groups, but regional tensions still exist. Political reforms are underway, with calls for democratization and strengthening the separation of powers. Establishing stable governance is a future challenge.
