As it cools, you can taste the delicate acidity of white peach and the sweetness of honey.
La Requia Farm is located in Villa Rica, Pasco Province, Peru, in the Model Forest of the Oxapampa Ashaninka Yanesha Reserve. While this region's high altitude produces excellent quality coffee, the harsh growing conditions mean that not many people cultivate it. Farm owner Nancy Andrade was inspired by the rich flavor of coffee only found at high altitudes and began cultivating it. She is a third-generation producer, but her predecessors grew crops other than coffee. It was during Nancy's generation that coffee cultivation began in earnest. Since the first harvest in 2020, the farm has been constantly working to improve quality while focusing on environmental conservation.
