Coffee Details
About Ronald Mejia
Ronald Mejia was born into a family that has grown coffee for generations. From an early age, he worked on the farm with his father and brothers, naturally gaining knowledge and experience in coffee production.
In 2009, when he was 13 years old, Ronald lost his father. Later, he met his godfather, John Roberts, whose support helped him become more deeply involved in coffee production.
Farm Story
In 2011, John Roberts purchased land, and Ronald became responsible for managing the farm and its daily work. At first, the coffee was sold as commercial coffee, but in 2022, encouragement and advice from nearby producers and friends inspired him to take on the challenge of producing specialty coffee.
Although it was his first attempt, being able to sell high-quality coffee at a fair price gave Ronald a strong sense of achievement. This experience became an important turning point in the way he approaches farming.
Philosophy
Today, Ronald is driven by a simple yet powerful goal: to support his family by selling good coffee at a fair price.
He is now planting new varieties and exotic cultivars while continuing to improve quality. By producing coffees suited to the specialty market, he is working toward a more sustainable future for his farm.
