About Angel Paz
Angel Arturo Paz comes from a family of coffee producers spanning three generations. From an early age, he was involved in coffee processing at the SAN VICENTE mill in Honduras.
For more than 15 years, Angel has worked alongside specialty coffee producers, continually developing his knowledge and pursuing higher-quality coffee production.
His Coffee Journey
In 2007, Angel purchased his first plot of land and planted it entirely with Red Catuai. He named the farm La Colmena.
Coffee production began in 2009, when he produced his first microlot for the specialty coffee market.
Since 2011, Angel has participated in the Cup of Excellence, achieving several notable results over the years.
La Tigra Farm
La Tigra Farm was established in 2018 in El Dorado, Santa Bárbara, at an altitude of 1,620 metres.
The farm began producing coffee in 2021 and now grows a range of varieties. It has developed into a farm producing consistently high-quality coffees.
By combining experience in coffee production with the character of the land, La Tigra produces coffees with clarity, balance, and distinctive sweetness.
